 План-конспект урока в 9 классе по теме: Fashion


Коммуникативная ситуация урока: My attitude to youth fashion.

Цель: формирование коммуникативной компетенции учащихся в рамках обозначенной коммуникативной ситуации.

Задачи: 1. Образовательная: формировать навыки мыслительной деятельности в процессе 
выполнения коммуникативных заданий, закрепить употребление 
linking words.
2. Развивающая: развивать эмоционально – образную сферу и творческие 
способности учащихся, познавательный интерес к миру моды.

3. Воспитательная: воспитывать культуру внешнего вида, учить разбираться в стилях и направлениях моды и высказывать своё мнение, расширять 
кругозор учащихся по теме «Мода». 

Языковой материал: лексические единицы по теме “Fashion”.

Оснащение урока: картинки Д. Бекхема и его семьи.

Ход урока

Подготовка к речевой деятельности на ИЯ.

Приветствие.

Good morning, dear children! Nice to see you! How are you today? I hope everybody is OK. So, let’s start our work.

Cообщение темы урока.

We’ll talk about the way people dress, clothes and fashion and its role in peoples’ life. You’ll share your opinion on the theme and try to answer : to follow or not to follow fashion.

  1. Evocation (вызов)

  1. Thick and Thin Questions”

Teacher: 

1 Are clothes important to you? 
2 Do you follow fashion? 
3 What fashion magazines do you read? 
4 Do you like shopping? 
5 Who buys clothes for you? 
6 What’s your favourite style? 
7 Do you have rows with your parents about you clothes? 
8 Do you like to wear your school uniform? 
9 What is out of fashion now? 
10 What is fashionable now? 
11Do you know the names of famous designers and trends? 
12 What do you usually wear?

2.”Brain Storm”

Teacher: Which celebrities in your opinion are stylish and fashionable? Write down 3 or 4 names. Explain why you think so.

II. Realization of Meaning (осмысление)

Teacher: Ex. 2a Read and guess who the person is.

Ex. 2b Work in pairs. Read the questions that David Beckham was once asked by journalist. How do you think David answered them?

Ex. 2c Match David Beckham’ answers to the journalist’s questions in ex. 2b.

Ex. 2d Work in pairs. Think of a good label for each of the photos of David Beckham and his family. Use the ideas in ex. 2c

Last word”

Teacher: Some people become fashion fans and their lives are ruled by designers and new trends, other think following fashion is waste time and money. Work in   groups; the 1-st one will write down disadvantages, the other – advantages. Then compare your ideas. 

Ex. 4b Complete the sentences about fashion with the linking words. Choose the sentences that you agree with and explain why.

III. Reflection (рефлексия) .

A Round Table”.

(Then in the same groups the students make a conclusion on the following items: similarities and differences, advantages and disadvantages of fashion; what they would prefer and why).

Teacher: At home you will think and write an essay: To follow or not to follow fashion?
